Are you licensed and insured?
Yes — ELEC LLC holds an NC Unlimited Electrical Contractor license, meaning there is no cap on project size or voltage we can take on. We're fully insured and happy to provide our license number on request.
Do you do both commercial and residential work?
Yes. We do commercial, industrial, and residential — ground-up new construction down to a single service call. Same crew, same standards.
What kind of large-scale work do you handle?
Large switchgear installs and repairs, pad-mount transformers, control cabinet builds, traffic-system gantries, manufacturing service equipment, and high-low-medium voltage distribution. As an Unlimited contractor we're not capped at the size or voltage residential-only electricians are.
I'm hearing a tripping breaker, crackling sound, or burning smell — what should I do?
Stop using the device or circuit and call us. Those are warning signs of a real fault, not a nuisance. We'll come out, inspect the system, and find the cause before it becomes a fire or shock hazard.
Do you handle generator installs?
Yes — standby and backup generator installs, automatic transfer switches, and load-shed configurations for both commercial buildings and homes. We coordinate the gas and the electrical so it runs the first time the power goes out.
